Terms of Use

These terms apply when you visit Have Another Go, play its games or share a game or score link. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Playing the games

You may access the portal and play its games for personal, non-commercial entertainment. No account or purchase is currently required. If you are under the age required to agree to online terms where you live, use the portal only with a parent or guardian’s permission.

Fair and acceptable use

Do not damage or overload the service, attempt unauthorised access, bypass security, introduce malicious code, automate play abusively, scrape the service disruptively, manipulate scores deceptively, infringe another person’s rights or use the portal unlawfully.

Games, questions and scores

Trivia and other game content is provided in good faith for entertainment. Facts can change and mistakes can occur; please report questionable answers through our contact page. Scores, timers and local leaderboards are recreational and are not proof of identity, ranking, qualification or entitlement to a prize. Browser-stored progress can be lost or reset.

Ownership

The portal’s branding, design, original game code, artwork and original written content are protected by intellectual-property law. These terms do not transfer ownership to you. You may share normal links and score cards produced by the games, but may not republish, sell, clone or present the portal or its games as your own.

Third-party services

The portal may use hosting, security, analytics, sharing or advertising services and may link to third-party websites. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party content or availability.

Availability and changes

We may correct questions, update features, add or remove games, limit abusive traffic, suspend parts of the service or discontinue the portal. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” for casual entertainment. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the portal. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or affects mandatory consumer rights.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may also have mandatory rights and be able to bring proceedings where you live.
